Shipping Policy

1. Standard Flat Rate Shipping

Orders containing only standard-size items under 100" in length qualify for a flat shipping rate of $XX per order.

Flat rate shipping applies to standard ground shipments within the United States.

2. Oversized Freight Shipments

Products exceeding 100" in length require special freight handling and are not eligible for standard flat rate shipping.

These items will ship separately via LTL (Less-Than-Truckload) freight carrier. Oversized items will not be charged shipping at checkout. Freight charges will be quoted separately.

A member of our team will contact you to confirm shipping costs prior to processing the shipment.

3. Mixed Orders (Standard + Oversized Items)

For orders containing both standard-size and oversized items:

  • Standard-size items will qualify for the flat rate shipping charge
  • Oversized items exceeding 100" will be quoted separately and shipped via LTL freight

Customers will be contacted to approve oversized freight charges before shipment is finalized.

4. Backordered Items

When backordered items become available for shipment:

  • Standard-size backordered items under 100" in length will qualify for the standard flat rate shipping charge when shipped.
  • Oversized backordered items exceeding 100" in length requiring LTL freight shipping may incur additional freight charges at the time they become available.

5. Split Shipments & Special Requests

Flat rate shipping applies to standard order fulfillment only.

Additional shipping charges may apply for:

  • Expedited shipping requests
  • Special handling requirements
  • Customer-requested split shipments
  • Delayed shipment requests
  • Multiple delivery locations
  • Partial shipment scheduling

6. Delivery Timeframes

Most in-stock orders are processed and shipped within normal business operating timelines.

Estimated transit times for standard shipments are typically 3–5 business days after shipment.

Delivery times may vary depending on:

  • Destination
  • Freight carrier schedules
  • Weather conditions
  • Product availability
  • Oversized freight coordination

Delivery dates are estimates only and are not guaranteed.

7. Tracking Information

Once your order ships, tracking information will be provided via email whenever available.

Freight shipments may require additional scheduling directly with the freight carrier.

8. Delivery Address Accuracy

Customers are responsible for providing accurate and complete shipping information at checkout.

Glass & Glazing Hardware is not responsible for:

  • Delays caused by incorrect addresses
  • Failed delivery attempts
  • Additional charges resulting from address corrections or rerouting

9. Shipping Damage & Freight Claims

Customers are responsible for inspecting shipments upon delivery.

If products arrive damaged:

  • Note any visible damage with the delivery carrier immediately
  • Retain all packaging materials
  • Contact our customer service team as soon as possible

Freight damage claims may require documentation and carrier inspection.
